Wrestling in Dakar tells the story of five friends: Abdoulaye Thiam, Mamadou Dia, Abdou Seck, Ibrahima Sissokho and Mbaye Mbao who live in Guédiawaye, a poor suburb of Dakar, the capital of Senegal. Their life and everyday work in a small smithy are not the Everest of their dreams, but to become a Senegalese wrestling celebrity definitely is.
